Hi I'm Big John a six year old male Pekingese. Please excuse my coat but I was so very matted when I got to Safehaven I had to be shaved down. It will grow back!!!!!! I'm was quiet and reserved when I arrived here, I don't make much noise and I do like to be petted as much as possible, but if you are too busy I will find a quiet spot and take a nap or play with my toys, until you have time to play with me I do have a special need--I have a seizure disorder which is easily controlled with 1/2 a pill twice daily. And the best part is that the pills I need are really inexpensive--see not so bad is it???
