I have owned this Canadian truck since the nineties. I am the second owner. She is an unrestored unit sitting in original paint, with its original engine, and interior. There are no modifications outside of a Sony 10 disc and the rear roll pan. This is a RARE regular cab, short box, step side, factory sport truck w/ the stock small mirrors, painted grille & bumpers, w/ molding delete. It is a factory 5.7 (350) backed up by an automatic overdrive transmission, and has a lot of equipment (for the day) air power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power door locks, tilt steering column, cruise control, tach dash, alloy wheels, and the top of the line Silverado trim grey interior in a teal green metallic truck.
The truck runs and drives great, still turns heads. It has over 230 km on her, but guaranteed well maintained and looked after. This year for the first time the cab corners are starting to show rust and the front bumper is chipped up pretty bad. I am at the point of deciding to fix up the paint and keep her another dozen years or do I move on to another project ? Right or wrong this truck is worth 10-12 G’s to me, and YES I may have to keep it because no one agrees with me, and that’s cool ! But if you find yourself in the position of wanting a change for a usable vehicle please contact me.
I would prefer to swap for a 1960’s through 1970’s muscle or collector car (even an old short box truck) in any condition - be that a basket project, older restoration or even a nice original. It must be a 2 door, a convertible or a wagon. (no 4 doors please). I will trade even up, or I will pay you, or you can pay me, depending on your trade and condition.
I have been very honest and upfront with you. If you don’t agree with me, that’s OK don’t bother to email me to JUST tell me you don’t like my truck or its’ value to me.
If you have something that you are toying with the idea of getting rid of, email me and we can try to work something out before storage season gets here again.
Thanks for the time everyone !
